About Me
- Why did you become a lawyer?
Originally a theatre major, I earned my undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in philosophy. I have always been a highly competitive person who naturally enjoys a good debate.
- Which area of practice are you most passionate about and why?
During law school, my concentration was in energy law. I am passionate about the environment and know those areas of law will continue to be of significant importance in the future.
- What do you consider to be your greatest strength as a lawyer?
I adapt to new circumstances easily. Despite my concentration being energy law, I did an externship in the Immigration Law Clinic. Following graduation, I practiced family law primarily until coming to Mitchell Legal PLLC and focusing on construction defect litigation.
- What sets you apart from other lawyers?
I am very communicative, adaptable and becoming well-rounded in several areas of law.
- What do you do for fun?
I enjoy reading, playing Nintendo, rewatching Parks & Recreation, and hanging out with my husband.
